Draining threes has become one of Derek Fisher’s calling cards throuhout his NBA career.

On Tuesday night against the Indiana Pacers, it was again.

D-Fish drained three threes in the 122-99 win, scoring all nine of his points on the deep ball. It was the first time since playing the Golden State Warriors the last week of December that Derek did all his work from beyond the arc.

Fish started his scoring with three minutes left in the first, nailing a trey that brought the Lakers even with the Pacers at 18. Then toward the end of the second, he hit his second trey, giving the Lakers a five-point lead on their way into the locker room.

D-Fish finished in a flourish, his last triple of the game coming with six minutes left in the third to put Los Angeles up by 10.

In addition to his nine points, Fish’s affinity for the number three extended to the assist column as he also passed out three assists: two to Pau Gasol and one to his backcourt buddy Kobe Bryant.
