TNT’s Players Only delivered once again on Tuesday night in Los Angeles.

Derek Fisher was on the call once again, joined by Brent Barry, Nate Robinson and Dennis Scott for a tilt between the Clippers and Bucks that held huge playoff implications for both teams as they each sit on the edge of the postseason picture in their respective conferences. The Clippers started the game red-hot, especially from deep to open up an early lead. They opened up a 10-point advantage at one point in the first quarter and led by six, 35-29, after a high-scoring opening frame.

The second frame saw LA continue to push it, jumping out to a lead as high as 16 points, led by some rim-rocking plays.

However, Milwaukee ended the half on a run of their own, sparked by some defensive excellence, and by the break, the Bucks found themselves within two possesions of the lead.

Led by the stellar play of star Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Bucks surged in the second half, even taking the lead in the final minutes of the third and carrying it halfway into the fourth. But a huge three by Austin Rivers tied the score at 88-88 with half the quarter to play.

It was a back and forth battle from there over the final six minutes, but the home team prevailed and after the game, it was Rivers who caught up with 3D to discuss the win.
